1tbOil
2clGarlic; minced
1/2cWater
8ozTomato sauce
1tsVinegar
2 Sticks cinnamon
1 Bay leaf
1tsSalt
1/4tsPepper
15ozCan garbanzo beans; drained
10ozFrozen peas
1/2cRed bell pepper; or sliced
  Pimiento

Cut pork in 1 x 1.5" pieces. In a large skillet, heat oil. Saute pork and garlic until brown. Drain excess fat. Add water and cook, uncovered, on medium heat until liquid is reduced. Add next 6 ingredients and cook covered over low heat 20 min, stirring occasionally. Add remaining vegetables, cover, and cook 5 min. If using pimientos, add just before serving. Discard cinnamon and bay leaf before serving.
